Batch File Renamer
Rename any file type using templates, sequences, prefixes, suffixes and text replacement. Preview conflicts and export locally as ZIP.
Local processing
Selected files are processed in your browser without a file-upload step or account.
How to use
- Choose files of any type and arrange their order
- Set naming rules and inspect previews and conflicts
- Download and extract the ZIP to get your renamed files
Formats and limits
Up to 1,000 files and 512 MiB total. Dates use file modification time in UTC. Results download as a ZIP, preserving original file contents without modifying the originals.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Processing happens on your device. The website, fonts and dependencies may still use the network; offline use is not guaranteed.
Will my original files change?
No. The tool creates a ZIP containing renamed copies. Original files and file contents remain unchanged.
What are the limitations?
